Whitening your teeth at-home has never been easier using our professional teeth whitening kits and systems. Below is the procedure to achieve dental quality results in the comfort of your own home.
Always Brush and floss teeth prior to starting your at-home treatment. To achieve maximum results, always have clean teeth free of any food particles or buildup on the tooth enamel.
When applying the bleaching agent, it is important that you do not overload the trays with gel. Place small beads of gel in the frontal portions of the trays ( area exposing the teeth). Make sure to not spread the bleach around. The average treatment requires only about 0.5ml of gel. It is recommended to only bleach the teeth that are exposed when smiling.
After you have applied the gel to the trays, insert both trays (upper and lower) in your mouth. Make sure the trays are fit firmly against the teeth by "sucking" the trays to the teeth. To eliminate unnecessary sensitivity, wipe away extra gel exposed to the gums.
Due to different patient sensitivity issues it is recommended to bleaching your teeth for 15 minutes to 30 minutes for first time users. After the first 5 treatments, your gums should be immune to the bleaching agent and sensitivity should subside and you can continue to bleach for longer than 30 minutes. Repeat this process everyday until your desired results are achieved. Note: Tooth Sensitivity is normal and will subside by decreasing the treatment time and/or continued use.
Place on teeth whitening tray in your mouth on the top portion of your teeth. Practice sucking the air from the tray. This is the procedure you will use when you retrieve the trays from boiling water to contour the tray to the surface of your teeth. Repeat this process for the second tray.
Bring water to a boil in a pan. Remove the water from the heat. Place one tray in the boiling water via the tab. Leave in water for 3 seconds. (Note: leaving the tray longer than 3 seconds in the boiling water will cause them to melt and you will not be able to use the tray).
Lift the tray from the water using the tab. Quickly place the tray around the teeth and perform the same sucking procedure as practiced with the pre-fitting procedure.
Note: If you are using 36% you need to avoid gel contact with the soft tissue (gums).
5. Laser LED Light (optional): After applying the gel to the trays and inserting them in your mouth, place the laser light in your mouth and wait for the auto 10 minute timer goes off. Restart the laser light and continue bleaching for 30 Minutes.
6. Tooth Remineralize + Desensitize Gel (optional): After each whitening treatment, wash the trays thoroughly. Apply the remineralize + desensitize gel to the frontal portions of the trays and leave on for approx. 30 minutes. Continue using after each teeth whitening session to eliminate future tooth sensitivity issues and maintain better overall oral health.
7. After Each Whitening Treatment:
Remove the trays from your mouth and rinse thoroughly with hot water and remove all excess gel. Brush and floss teeth to remove any remaining gel on the teeth.
8. Trays and Gel Storage:
Always keep your trays clean and stored in the container case provided. Keep remaining gel in a dry and cool place away from heat and sunlight. Our gels have a two year shelf life and can be stored in the refrigerator to prolong shelf life and to keep them fresh. Do not freeze the gels.
